Nicholas Roth

Nicholas Roth is an American classical pianist, recording artist and associate professor of piano at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa. He appeared as soloist with the St. Louis Symphony and the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra under Raymond Leppard, among others. Andrej Kurti

From 1988-1994 he completed a B.M. degree and then a M.M. degree at the Moscow State Tchaikovsky Conservatory in the studio of professor Levon Ambartsumian and Zorya Shikmurzaeva. During that time Kurti toured several European countries as principal second and soloist with the ARCO Chamber Orchestra. Carmen Maret

As a flutist, dancer, and tango scholar, Carmen Maret merges music performance with music ethnography. Ms. Maret received her Mater’s in music at Michigan State University with a focus on ethnomusicology. She produced a Master’s thesis in 2005 that looked at tango in the Michigan Argentine Tango club based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Before her interest in tango, Carmen Maret specialized in performance. She received her Bachelor of Music in flute performance from the University of Missouri-Kansas City and her Master of Music in flute performance from Michigan State University. More >>>>
